The "General Code for Building Fire Protection" is now approved as a national standard, numbered GB 55037-2022, and will be implemented from June 1, 2023. This code is a mandatory engineering construction specification, and all provisions must be strictly implemented. If the relevant provisions in the current engineering construction standards are inconsistent with this specification, the provisions of this code shall prevail.
